Christmas Day

Kye's favorite gift!

Clearly, Ash's favorite gift!

Thank goodness I was able to get a hold of Santa and let him know we were in Utah. Of course, I was awake hours befor the kids. I've never been able to sleep on Christmas Eve. I just get too excited! My kids are at such a fun age. They loved every gift they got.

Crazy Christmas

The cute cousins in their Christmas pj's.

Lola already has a shoe fettish.

The little ones just love Grandpa Mark.

Grandma Cheryl helped the kids with the Nativity.

We were planning an nice quiet Christmas at home and then heading up to Utah the day after. We kept watching the weather and on the 23rd decided if we were going to beat the storm we had to leave right then. We threw everything together in the next few hours and were on the road. We made it safely and the storm came shortly there after. It was a huge storm and I-15 was even closed. So our Christmas ended up being different than I had imagined but still it was great. Grandma Cheryl had her big party on Christmas Eve. The kids all had so much fun together.

Very Merry

Lola loved her first Christmas and we love her. How could we not?

Tooth troubles

Kye has had a loose tooth the past few weeks. He refused to let me pull it. Last night as we went to bed, it was barely hanging on. Then at 3:30 we were awakened by Kye crying and telling us he wasn't going to get his tooth fairy money because he had swallowed his tooth. This was his first tooth he'd lost. You can imagine what a big deal it was especially at 3:30 in the morning.
We quickly wrote a letter to the Tooth Fairy and he cried himself back to sleep. He was all smiles and so happy this morning to find that the Tooth Fairy accepted our note without the missing tooth! Maybe next time he'll let me pull it!

More Pics

We really don't do family photos that often but my friend Jen is leaving me and moving to Wyoming. (I'm so sad!) She is an amazing photographer so we had her take our pictures at the beach. I love the pictures, despite the fact that it happened to be a rare cold and windy day!

'Tis the Season

I have been a bit of a Grinch this year....it's hard to get into the season in 70 degree weather! So we just barely got our tree. The kids had a blast decorating and it really got us all in the Christmas mood.

Time is Slipping By....

It hit me the other day that we are already half way through the first year of Lola's life! How sad! I can't believe how time flies. I told Todd that I'm never as happy as when I have a baby. He said that worries him because most of our lives it will just be the 2 of us. I just wish I could slow time down!
