Boys will be boys!

Our good friends from our Utah State days, Kathryn & Harley, came to visit us. They now live in Alaska and so it has been years since we've seen them. The kids became automatic best friends. They are moving to Spokane,Washington this summer and now Todd's convinced that he should try and get a job there also. It was so fun to see them and it felt like no time had passed at all. We took these pictures of the kids. I thought they were pretty funny!

True Blue!

We love BYU! My kids are the biggest little fans ever! They had so much fun going to the football games this year with Todd. Growing up near BYU we always made fun of the "zoobies" but I sure am glad I married one. Todd's teaching job at BYU has been such a blessing in our lives and the amazing insurance benefits have allowed us to have this new baby. So I've repented of my wicked ways and never again will I make fun of the "zoobies"! Who knows maybe one day I'll get to attend BYU and be a "zoobie" myself! Go Cougars!

Oh Boy! It's a.....

GIRL! So we have known this for almost 2 weeks. I've waited to post the news because I wanted to put a picture but you know how I feel about pregnancy pictures. Anyway, we are excited! Ashton and I really wanted a girl. I love having sisters and really want Ash to have a sister. Todd said he'd be happy with either a boy or girl. Kye wanted a boy until my sister, Emily found out that her baby was a boy then he felt ok about having a sister. Emily is due 4 days after me so it will be fun to have 2 little cousins together.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

We love the snow! Well, at least the kids and I do. I think if Todd didn't have to drive in it, we'd have converted our Arizona boy. Even so,we have already had many sledding adventures and snowmen built so we hope the snow only continues!

Kye

What can I say about Kye????? He is our little entertainer. He is always busy and loves to make us laugh. Every time he sat on Santa's lap this year, his Christmas list changed. On Christmas Eve he told Santa that he wanted a Squawkin' Talkin' Macaw, a puppy that skates and a robotic Transformer. Santa had never even heard these items mentioned by Kye until then. Santa brought Kye a really cool new bike but Kye continues to complain that Santa did not bring him one thing that he asked for. Poor Santa!

Ashton

This is our sweet little ballerina, Ashton. She loves her ballet class and also loves taking piano. She is in the second grade and doing great. She is such a great kid.

This is an old picture of our family but being a pregnant woman I avoid the camera at all costs

New Years Resolution

So here goes my New Years resolution. I am going to join the 21st century and maintain a blogspot and also use my e-mail. For those of you who know me well, you'll understand why this is such a big deal. I'm so technologicaly challenged but here's to bettering myself this year.
